German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that Berlin pays for half of all aid to Ukraine that is sent to Kiev from the European Union. He announced this during his speech .
The rest of the economically strong EU states , he said, need to make more efforts to help Ukraine if it needs it.
During his speech, he also stated that sanctions against Russia led to an increase in energy prices in the member countries of the association.

Previously , it was reported that deputies from several German parties called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, and representatives of both parties stated the need to strike Russia.
