Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev earned $662,360 thanks to reaching the finals of the Masters tournament in Shanghai ( China ). In addition, he and compatriot Karen Khachanov played in doubles. There they reached the 1/8 finals, for which they received $16,730. Thus, in total, Rublev earned almost $680 thousand in Shanghai.

In the final of the tournament, Rublev lost to the representative of Poland , Robert Hurkacz, 3:6, 6:3, 6:7.

Rublev is ranked seventh in the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP) rankings with 4,550 points. Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead (11,545 points). Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is second with 8,715 points. The top three is completed by Russian Daniil Medvedev (7490 points). Hurkacz is in 17th position. Thanks to reaching the final of the tournament in Shanghai on October 16, Rublev will rise two places higher in the ATP rankings.

In July, Rublev won a tournament in BĂ„stad ( Sweden ), beating Kasper Ruud from Norway in the final with a score of 7:6, 6:0.
