An air raid alert has been declared in two regions in the east and south of Ukraine , in the Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions, the official resource for alerting the population reports.
Earlier it became known about explosions and an air raid warning in Nikolaev. The mayor of the city, Alexander Senkevich, announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to Ukrainian media, the Air Force reported a threat of the use of ballistics in the Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Odessa and Kherson regions.
Before this, Ukraine announced an air raid alert in several regions of the country. Sirens sounded in the Sumy, Chernihiv and Poltava regions on the afternoon of October 9.
On October 7, explosions occurred in the Nikolaev region. According to information from the mayor of the city, Alexander Senkevich, loud sounds were heard in some areas of the city. Services went to the scene of the incident. He urged local residents to be as careful as possible and not to ignore alarm signals.
